Download as ZIP in "My Data" no more working in Brave and FireFox

Hi Support,

I would like to download the images of my last run, but the Download in "My Data" is no more working at all. Below is the captured run for the download.

After clicking "download data" that windows opens - with the information “Download as ZIP works in every browser.

After clicking "Start Download" all files were compressed.

But now window opens to select the download folder on my computer. Tested with Brave browser.

The FireFox-Browser has another behabvior. The below error message pops up.

In the Edge-browser it works - the download notification is in German language.

Around one week ago it worked in Brave-browser.

    Hi Peter,

    I find these errors very interesting because I do all of my testing on Brave and I have not seen any errors like these before.

    Would you be able to tell me the versions you have installed for Firefox and Brave so I can try to replicate the issue?

      Please find below the requested information:

      Brave 1.94.121 (64-Bit) with Chromium 152.0.7977.83

      FireFox 155.0.1 (64-Bit)

      By the way two additional information

      Brave

      Sometimes the download works, but immediately afterwards it doesn't.

        Hi Peter,

        I have just pushed out a large update to the download system which should resolve these issues and improve the reliability of the downloads going forward.

        Please let me know if the issue continues.

          it works now with Brave - perfect, many thanks.

          But not with FireFox, at least you have written why it not works.

          In my point of view that is okay.

            Hi Peter,

            Just to confirm, are you not able to download data at all in FireFox?

            You should be able to download to a ZIP file from FireFox. It is only the direct folder download which is only available on Chromium based browsers.

            I have tested the ZIP download from FireFox and it seems to work fine for me.

              you are right - it works in FireFox with “Download as ZIP”.

              I was a bit unprecise. Sorry for that.
