StellarDock is the next-generation remote telescope platform — built and operated by iTelescope Pty Ltd. If you already have an iTelescope account, this page explains exactly what StellarDock means for you.

What is StellarDock?

StellarDock is not replacing iTelescope

It is a new brand within the iTelescope family. iTelescope.Net continues to operate. StellarDock is where active development is focused and where the platform is headed long-term.

New features, improvements, and the best imaging experience will land on StellarDock first. Your iTelescope subscription keeps working exactly as before — nothing about it changes when you join.

For existing iTelescope members

You can access StellarDock today using your existing iTelescope credentials:

  • Your iTelescope subscription remains active — nothing changes there.

  • You can sign in to StellarDock with the same credentials you already use.

  • Existing iTelescope points can be transferred to StellarDock credits.

  • The two subscriptions are independent — you don't need to cancel iTelescope.Net to buy a StellarDock plan, and your iTelescope.Net plan keeps billing until you cancel it there.

What you start with

A new StellarDock account begins on the no-subscription tier. Transferred credits are available immediately, but monthly and Discovery credits are only included with a StellarDock subscription plan.

Transferring your iTelescope points

Use the dedicated transfer portal to convert iTelescope points into StellarDock credits. The portal acts as an intermediary — you log in to both accounts and choose how many points to convert.

  1. Open the transfer portal

    Go to transfer.itelescope.net.

  2. Log in to StellarDock

    Sign in to your StellarDock account when prompted.

  3. Log in to iTelescope

    Sign in to your iTelescope account when prompted.

  4. Choose how many points to convert

    Pick the number of points to turn into StellarDock credits and confirm.

Tip

Telescopes are moving across to StellarDock progressively. Your iTelescope.Net subscription keeps your existing telescope access during the transition — so there's no rush, and nothing breaks while the migration is underway.

Where is the platform headed?

StellarDock is the long-term home of iTelescope's development. Expect the newest telescopes, features, and workflow improvements to arrive here first.
