What we support

We help with acquiring your images through StellarDock, not with processing them.

StellarDock gives you time on remote telescopes and delivers the images they take. Our support covers everything about using StellarDock to acquire your images: your account, planning and running sessions, the telescopes, and getting your data. What happens to your images after that is up to you, and we can't help with it.

We can help with

  • Your account: signing up, signing in, two-factor authentication, account details, group accounts.

  • Plans and billing: subscriptions, credits and Discovery credits, charges, invoices, refunds.

  • Reservations and sessions: booking, cancelling, sessions that fail or stop early, exposures that were skipped.

  • The telescopes and observatories: a telescope that misbehaves, focus or tracking faults, roof and weather closures, filters or settings that don't match the telescope's page.

  • Your data: downloading sessions, FITS files and their headers, previews, calibration frames, data that is missing or won't download.

  • The StellarDock app: anything in the app that doesn't work as described in this help center.

We can't help with

  • Processing your images: stacking, calibrating, aligning, stretching, colour combination, noise reduction.

  • Image processing software: PixInsight, Siril, Photoshop, DeepSkyStacker and the like, including how to load our FITS files or calibration frames into them.

  • General astronomy and astrophotography advice: what to image, exposure strategy, filter choice, equipment for your own setup.

Requests about these are closed with a pointer to the community. The StellarDock Discord is the place for them: many users there process images from the same telescopes.

Not sure?

The question is whether StellarDock or the telescope did something wrong, or whether it's about what you do with the images afterwards.
